CMC Spring Classic Race Sunday April 25th

Sunday April 25th is the CMC / MotoWest Spring Classic Race at Club Moto. Gates open at 6:30 am. Practice starts at 8am. Saturday the 24th practice will be from 8am to 2pm.

Wednesday time change

The time is changing for wednesdays, the old time was 1-7pm. the new times are 3pm to 9pm, effective this wednesday the 24th.

New Family Pricing

The Sextons would like to help out during these tough times by offering "Family Discounts"...here's how it works.

Parent/s pays regular $25.00 per entry and every child in the Family riding a 150cc or less, pays $15.00 per rider. Must be accompanied by the Parent...not applicable to neighbors, or friends that bring your child to the track.

Each child has to have a 2010 Parental Waiver on file too.

Excludes race weekends, and other special events at Club Moto.

New Wednesday Hours

Wednesday hours are now from 1pm to 7pm. Wednesdays are still split 40/20 practices.

CM open 2 till DARK on Wednesday 11/18

Mike accidentally cut some power lines to the light poles while they were fixing a new S-turn section on the track. They've tried to repair it but it looks like today will be without lights. So today, Wednesday Nov 18th CM will be open 2pm till dark only.

New hours

CM will now be open 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and 9am to 3pm on Sundays.

New Layout: reversed direction

Mike just let me know that CM now has a new layout, with the track being reversed from its previous direction and using the full big hill. Hopefully I'll have more details in the coming week.

Veterans Day: open Noon to 7pm

On Veterans Day (Wed Nov 11) Club Moto will be open from Noon until 7pm. It will be split practices, 20 minutes for minis and 40 minutes for big bikes each hour.

Split practice is Saturday, not Sunday

So Mike told me the wrong days. Split practices are on Saturdays instead of Sundays. Sorry for the confusion.

Practice changes

Starting October 27th, there will not be any more mini nights. Instead, Wednesdays and Sundays will be 20/40 split practice: 20 minutes for the kids and 40 minutes for the big bikes each hour.

Sept 27th race Moved to October 18th

The Trans-Cal race that was scheduled for Club Moto on September 27th has been moved to October 18th. Race practice will be held on Saturday October 17th 9am-2pm.

Did some freshing up of the track today . Filled the landing back in on leap of faith , built a small jump in the middle of the track at the bottom of the hill after the bowl berm . Rebanked the bowl berm . Redid the face and landing to the step up before the bowl berm . Widened the whoop section and reformed the berm before leap of faith . Rebuilt the samll step out by the street . Plus some assorted work here and there . track should feel pretty good this week . Just remmember that the new jumps will feel somewhat abrupt for a week or two untill they wear in .

Effective Aug 16th Club Moto is...$25 for "regular practice". You still get a free ride for every 10 tickets you turn in. It's like being paid to ride there !

Tuesday Mini-Nites $25
Wednesday Big Bikes $25
Saturday and Sundays, (except race days) $25

This will help tremendously in keeping The Club open for all to enjoy.

The track is being completely reworked this week and should have an all new layout for the CMC Spring Classic races. I'll try to get out there and get pictures up within the next week.
